Masopust Company is an independent theatre operating since 2008, specializing in dramaturgical archaeology intertwined with contemporary themes and vivid direction. It introduces fresh and unconventional topics, discovers forgotten texts by valuable authors, and fosters culture as an awareness of connections. By placing great emphasis on the language and linguistic value of productions, it contributes to the preservation of the Czech language, its richness, and the direct appreciation and experience of its beauty. The poetics of the theatre stem from the connection of classical pieces with purely contemporary theatrical techniques.
